The 1905 Hauler Pant French Asphalt by Pike Brothers takes its name from manual labor: hauler, to pull, to carry. These early 20th-century workwear trousers were designed to allow complete freedom of movement in a durable, wear-resistant fabric.

Our Hauler Pant incorporates all these design elements: wide leg, high waist, suspender buttons, and cinch back—the true 19th-century workwear fit. The "French Asphalt" fabric is 100% cotton, inspired by French workwear. Originally used as a lightweight summer fabric, it offers a stylish look despite its working-class origins.
