Why with an integrated tank?
The external oil reservoir on stock Harley master cylinders takes up space and looks unsightly. Here, the reservoir is integrated into the pump body itself: you don't have to connect anything else, you can hide the whole assembly, and your cockpit remains clean. It's also practical for solo seat builds where you want to conceal anything that isn't visually essential.
Compatibility and assembly
The 14 mm (9/16″) piston bore covers most brake and clutch applications on custom Harley projects or similar. Before installation, always check the required oil volume for your caliper/slave cylinder and adjust the master cylinder size to the appropriate torque if necessary. Hydraulic brakes offer modern, progressive braking with precise modulation. Cable (mechanical) brakes require more effort but give the pure vintage look of old-school choppers.
Approved for road use in France?
Yes. All KustomTech master cylinders are approved for European road use (ECE standard) and are compatible with motorcycle insurance. You can install them legally.
Does the system need to be bled?
Yes, absolutely after installation. Use DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 fluid depending on your motorcycle. Allow 30 minutes for a proper bleeding process.

Perfect. The only downside is that you have to remember to order the cable controls at the same time, otherwise it won't work. Holdfast explained this to me beforehand.
