Compatible with external cable controls (Deluxe KustomTech housing ref. 04-005 or any Harley-Davidson type housing). If your throttle cable exits from the top or side of the throttle housing, this is the version you need.

Installation
Remove the old grips, clean the handlebars, insert the new grip (a light spray of liquid soap helps to avoid damaging the anodizing), and tighten the brass ring. If you're installing the internal cable version, remember to thread the cable through before attaching the new grip. 10-15 minutes per pair.

Installation
Right side: Remove the original throttle control, install the KustomTech inner tube, and connect the throttle cables. Left side: Slide onto the handlebars using appropriate adhesive. Allow 30 minutes for basic mechanical work.

Rubber, brass or Nastro Telato?
Kustom rubber = discreet, firm vintage look. Vintage Deluxe brushable brass = unique patina. Nastro Telato (Italian canvas strap) = authentic café racer look. Choose according to your style.
How to change the grips without damaging the chrome handlebar coating?
For the left side, use a can of compressed air to slide the grip open. For the right side, carefully remove the throttle control; do not use excessive force.
