Master Leather Deluxe motorcycle saddlebag : 3,5 mm black cowhide leather, quilted top in the style of a Kustom saddle, old-school perforations, and nickel-plated hardware. Handmade in France by Hold Fast, it offers approximately 8,5 liters of volume and mounts on the right side of Softail, chopper, or bobber motorcycles.
The saddlebag that you notice before the motorcycle
Hey rider. There are saddlebags you put on to store your gloves, and then there's this one. The Master Leather Deluxe is our most meticulously crafted piece: a trapezoidal shape, high at the front and sloping towards the rear, extending the seat instead of cutting into the lines of your bike.
The top of the flap features the same ribbed quilting as tuck & roll saddles from the 50s. Just below, a row of perforations alternates between large and small holes, extending to the tip. Two thick straps, with netting-stitched edges and pointed ends, fasten everything with nickel-plated buckles. Every detail is handcrafted, piece by piece.

Made for driving, not for display.
Inside, you slip in what really matters on the road: rain suit, tool kit, disc lock, gloves , documents, and phone. Under the main flap, a second leather flap covers the opening and keeps everything safe from rain and dust.
The interior remains raw leather, without a fabric lining: nothing to tear, nothing to trap moisture. The D-rings on the straps can also be used to attach a bungee cord or a pair of gloves.
Installation
The flat, rigid backrest has two adjustable leather straps. You buckle them around the frame tube or swingarm, and it's installed: no drilling, no modifications.
The workshop's advice: on the right side, you're on the exhaust side. Leave a few centimeters of clearance with the mufflers (or add a heat shield) and check the clearance with the rear tire. Send us a photo of the right side of your motorcycle, and we'll confirm that it fits before you place your order.

Maintenance
A quick wipe after riding, and a leather conditioner or balm two or three times a year, especially before winter. If it's wet, let it air dry, away from the radiator. Over the years, it will develop a patina that no synthetic bag will ever achieve.

Is it waterproof?
The inner flap protects it well from the rain while riding, but it's not designed to be submerged. Well-maintained leather is more water-resistant.
Can I mount it on the right?
Its shape is designed for the left side. Mounted on the right, the line would be reversed. Contact us if you're looking for a right-handed version.
Why is mine a little different from the photos?
Natural leather and handmade: the grain and sheen vary slightly from piece to piece. This is what makes it unique.
