1945 B15 Flight Jacket Olive Pike Brothers: the last US pilot's jacket in cotton canvas

The US Army Air Force B-15 Intermediate Flight Jacket was introduced to replace the earlier A-2 and B-3 leather jackets. Praised for its sharp look and superior comfort, it was issued to USAAF aces and other US services. Subsequent versions were made of nylon; the first version used cotton wool and remains the last US pilot's jacket made from natural canvas . The Pike Brothers reissue retains the leather loops and triangles for attaching the oxygen mask and radio, a rare historical detail.

240g cotton satin and 500g wool

The 100% cotton satin outer shell (240 g/m²) provides the same durability and flexibility as the original B-15. The 100% wool lining (500 g/m²) creates a thermal barrier for high-altitude flight. This construction makes the B-15 a warm, balanced, and long-lasting jacket.

Plush sheepskin collar and historic Talon zip

The 100% plush sheepskin collar is the signature of the B-15, impossible to match with a synthetic. The original 1940s Talon zip with left opening , the circular knit cuffs and waistband , the authentic size and manufacturer labels , and the leather loops and triangles for oxygen masks and radios all attest to its historical authenticity.

This men's military jacket is available in sizes M and L only, in very limited stock. It pairs perfectly with raw denim, heritage chinos, or military trousers. Work boots, motorcycle boots, or vintage sneakers complete the look. A collector's item not to be missed.
