Comfort and performance
Unlike the Vintage line, the Classic forward controls feature rubber footpegs for optimal comfort on long journeys. The 16 mm (5/8″) brake master cylinder ensures smooth and powerful braking. The shift and brake pedals are also equipped with non-slip rubber.
Compatibility and installation
Designed for Harley-Davidson FXST Softail and FL models from 1984 to 1999, these forward controls mount directly in place of the original controls. The complete kit includes the adjustable aluminum shift linkage, banjo fitting, and all necessary hardware. It is recommended to use a KustomTech side stand or a custom-fitted side stand.

Installation
Maximum 15 minutes. Remove the stock lever (1 screw or clip), mount the KustomTech onto the original axle, and tighten progressively. No special tools required.

Adjustable spacing?
Yes, on Deluxe models via dial: you adjust the lever-handlebar distance to the size of your hand (4 possible settings).
Material: aluminum or brass?
7075-T6 aluminum = ultra-lightweight, polished or black anodized finish. Solid brass = vintage and unique patina. KustomTech brass develops an uneven brown patina over time = your lever becomes unique.
