KustomTech Dragster line polished billet aluminum fork brace. Compatible with 39mm and 41,2mm Showa forks. For Harley FXWG and FXST Softail with wide glide.
The FXWG Wide Glide and FXST Softail have that unmistakable look with their wide forks and 21-inch wheels. But this width, as beautiful as it is, can cause flex in the forks, affecting handling. This Dragster KustomTech fork brace, made of polished billet aluminum, elegantly solves the problem, adding stiffness and racing style to your wide glide front end.
Unlike the XL/FXR (narrow glide) model, this fork brace is sized for the wider stance of the wide glide forks found on the FXWG and FXST Softail models. The mounting points and geometry are specifically calculated for these models, guaranteeing a perfect fit without any modifications or adjustments. It accepts Showa tubes with diameters of 39 mm and 41,2 mm.
Adding a fork brace to a Softail or Wide Glide literally transforms the motorcycle's handling. Corner entries are more direct, straight-line stability is improved, and braking is smoother because the fork no longer twists under load. This is particularly noticeable on long mountain roads or highways where speed would normally amplify the shimmy.
KustomTech's Dragster design draws inspiration from 70s racers with its taut, aggressive lines. Finished in mirror-polished aluminum, it catches the light and creates a stunning visual focal point between the fork tubes. On a Softail with a peanut tank and short fender, this fork brace perfectly complements the contemporary old-school chopper look.

Installed on my 1996 Softail Custom with the Wide Glide fork. The difference is incredible; I didn't think it would make such a difference. My friend, who has the same bike without the fork brace, tried it out and ordered his right away. That says it all.

The polished aluminum Dragster design is truly something special, somewhere between the wide tubes of a Wide Glide. My Softail has gained stability and a more aggressive look. The KustomTech build quality is top-notch, no complaints there.

Good product, fits the wide glide fork on my 1985 FXWG perfectly. The aluminum polishing is beautiful. My only regret: I should have bought it much sooner; the difference in handling is so noticeable.
