1945 N4 Deck Jacket Waxed Doha Pike Brothers: the lightweight N4 in waxed cotton

The N-4 Deck Jacket was designed for temperatures where the N-1 was too warm, serving as a counterpart to the US Army's 1941 Field Jacket. The N-4 was simplified, without shoulder pads or a bi-swing back. In this Waxed Doha version , Pike Brothers has opted for a waxed cotton canvas that evolves with wear: exposed to water, heat, and creases, it develops a desired and unique patina. A cotton flannel lining replaces the traditional wool lining for easier care. An O&E (Odds & Ends) edition at an accessible price.

210g waxed cotton and deep Doha shade

The 100% waxed cotton outer shell, 210 g/m² , combines lightness and water resistance. The wax softens with wear, darkens at the folds, and develops a patina in areas of use. The Doha color , a deep navy blue with black undertones, gains depth over time.

Cotton flannel and N4 details

The 100% cotton flannel lining is soft to the touch, breathable, and easy to care for. The Talon zip , a signature of the original N4, provides secure closure. Two exterior pockets and one interior pocket offer ample storage for everyday essentials.

Pre-wash and ready-to-wear

This men's military jacket is pre-washed in our workshop: no shrinkage after washing, the jacket is its final size upon delivery. For maintenance, dry cleaning or occasional re-waxing is recommended to preserve its waterproofing.
